At Parkwood Institute on Wednesday, March 18th, 2015, Mr. Walter Gruber of London in his 70th year. Loving husband and best friend of Marilynn (Strangleman) Gruber. Beloved son of Hilda (Seeber) and Johann Falk. Dear brother of Karl Falk, Klaus Falk and Claudia Burger. Sadly missed also by his canine pals, Skipper, Cookie, Mitzi and Rocko. Walter worked in the hospitality industry for many years including more than 20 years at the Elmhurst Inn and Country Spa in Ingersoll. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, March 23rd, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visiting from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Pastor Rick Boyes officiating. Private family inurnment of ashes, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Walter are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program or the London Humane Society.

Marilyn, I'm so sorry for your loss. Had I read about Wally's passing before now, I would have come to his service today. Please know I understand your grief and heartache. It was a real pleasure having met him on a few occasions. You are in my thoughts and prayers and may you have the strength to smile once more. Please know you are on my mind.
