Welda Irene McIntyre (nee McLachlin)

Peacefully on Wednesday, June 4^th, 2014, Welda in her 94^th year passed away at University Hospital. Pre-deceased by husband Donald Ivan (Nip) in 1974.  Beloved Mother of Jill Jamieson (Jim), Bob McIntyre (Norma), Diane Bester (John), Bill McIntyre (Lynn), Sandy, Vicki, Ron McIntyre (Lisa) and mother-in-law of Don Tulloch. Predeceased by daughter Sherry Schaus Tulloch (2013) and grandson Robbie McIntyre. Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by Ken, Debbie, Charlene and Jill and lovingly thought of by her many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by her brothers Gordon, Stuart, Harold, Frank and Bill McLachlin. Our family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caregivers and volunteers at the McCormick Home where mom resided for the past four years attending her sing-a-longs and listening to the Blue Jays and London Knights on her ever present radio. According to Welda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, July 12^th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, The Arthritis Society or a charity of your choice.
