COX, Wendy – Peacefully, at home and surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 13th, 2011, at the age of 52. Cherished wife of Robert. Loving mother of Steven and Nathan. Beloved daughter of the late Joyce and Donald Sweet and daughter-in-law of Valerie Cox. Much loved sister of Geoff (Anne), Brian (Pauline), Karen (John Gilbert) and Lisa (John Deroon). Dear sister-in-law of Valerie Grant, Teresa Eldridge, Jeff (Janice), Angela Tower and Elizabeth Kirkpatrick. Sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Wendy’s life will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, February 17th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Wendy are asked to consider the L.H.S.F. Cancer Centre.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bob, Nathan and Stephen in the this difficult time. I remember especially her laugh and sense of humour, and the fun times we had when we all worked together. Your beautiful memories of her can be sustained through your two fine sons, a wonderful gift created out of your love for one another. We will miss her always. (brother and uncle, sister in-law, and neice and cousin.)
There is far more to this Universe than we can possibly know at our human level of being. Life is eternal because that which God creates can never be destroyed. We affirm that you and your family are surrounded by the essence of Spirit (love, light and life) as you release Wendy into the care of GOD. It is difficult to express how very sad I am to hear that Wendy has passed away. She was a wonderful lady and I will remember her fondly always. To Lisa and all of Wendy's family my deepest sympathy. My heart goes out to you all.

Wendy's huge spirit lives on in all of us who have had the privilege to know her. I am forever grateful that I had the opportunity to know her and love her. To have shared time with such an incredibly awesome soul as Wendy, is truly a gift we can all be thankful for. To know her is to love her . Wendy and I worked at Linens N Things together for 2 years. Wendy was always cheerful, forever loving a good joke and ever ready to help in any way she was able. We had good times and a great working relationship....I will always remember her laughter and and her positive attitude towards life and living life to the fullest. She will be remembered.
Uwe and I would like to say how terribly sorry we are Bob for you and all the family. I am so thankful that Wendy and I met all those years ago back in good old Sutton, Quebec. We sure did have alot of fun adventures together. I will never forget frolicking in the waves down in Old Orchard Beach, or playing pool at the Abercorn House and all the fun times dancing and singing. Our paths went in different directions for a while but we found each other again, and it was like no time had passed at all. Wendy and I have always felt like sisters we could talk about anything. I have never met anyone so selfless and brave. Wendy you know how very much you mean to me. We will always have our happy memories. My dearest friend rest easy. We are so sad that Wendy is gone. She was a joy to be around and brightened everyones spirits . Our thoughts are with Bob ,Nathan,Steven and all her family at this sad time. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Wendy was the heart and soul of our LNT family. She touched each and every one of us more than she ever knew. Her natural way of connecting with people was inspirational. She was always there with a shoulder to cry on and her zest for life was contagious. I will really miss Wendy. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

I knew Wendy from Linens 'n' Things, we had worked together. I am so sorry for you loss and will keep your family in my prayers and thoughts. She was a lot of fun to be around and I really cherished our friendship that we had working together and meeting at Timmie's on Weds.
Bob, Steven and Nathan you are constantly in our thoughts in this sad time. We will miss our friend Wendy terribly and we will never forget her bright cheerful personality. She was a ray of sunshine and she brightened up our lives.

I met Wendy when we both worked at Linen's n Things and really enjoyed working with her.She had a great sense of humor,and you could tell that she really enjoyed life and it was always fun to be around her.She spoke very lovingly about her family,and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Armando and I are very sorry to hear of Wendy's passing. She was a beautiful woman, and she lived her life with so much energy and joy. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Our condolences go out to her family: Bob, Steve and Nate, especially.
