William ‘Bill’ Chown

Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer, in his 54th year. Dearly loved son of the late Ted and Betty Chown. Loving brother of Arlene (Brian), Blair (Linda) and Bruce (Emily). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. A special ‘thank you’ to Robert Fleetwood, who cared for his uncle during difficult times. Bill was an avid sports fan. He was a longtime employee at the London Ski Club. A memorial reception will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 1:00 ~ 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bill are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program.

To Blair, Arlene and Bruce. I'm am so sad to hear of the passing of one of my best friends Billy. I will always hold a special part of him in my heart and will never forget the great times we had growing up together and his great love of sports and sense of humor. I will see you on the other side my friend when we will hit the links again.

I worked with Billy for many years at LSC and have many great memories. He was a kind soul. May he Rest In Peace.
