Our condolences on your loss. But what a life and the legacy he leaves. Your Dad, and all the memories will be cherished forever.
My mother was blessed to have six strapping younger brothers. All different, scattered all over North America raising families. Creating an army of cousins to carry on the Thomson name. Uncle Bill was the oldest. He followed into battle his father who fought in the war that was supposed to end all wars. Bill's service in WWII honoured his family and his country. As the last surviving Thomson of that generation he will be missed. The memories of everyone growing up together will not grow old.
Heartfelt condolences Keith, Di and Family. He lived 100 years, married to Iris for 77; three children, grand children and great grandchildren and years of service to his country and community - that's quite a legacy to be proud of.

Laura and I were welcomed to the neighbourhood by Bill (and Iris). The wonderful thing about knowing the Thomson couple is we got to meet the family members. Our lives were enhanced by Bill. I know that he will say 'Hi' to Laura in heaven because he always said Hi to her on earth. My best to the family.
