William ‘Bill’ Harwood

Peacefully at Henley Place, on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Muriel Harwood. Loving father of Kerry (the late Mary) and Craig (Jane). Loving grandfather of Matthew (Hannah) and Kaelan. Dear brother of Barb Aurini. Dear brother-in-law of Joan (Ian) Evans. Bill will be missed by many nieces and nephews across Canada and the United States. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Henley Place and LHSC – University Hospital for their excellent care. There will be no funeral service. Those wishing to make a donation are asked to consider the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario – Strong Kids Campaign.

Scott and I were sad to hear about Bill's passing. We are hoping your warm memories will be a comfort to you right now. You are all in our thoughts during this difficult time and we are sending you hugs from afar.
Muriel & Family, So sorry to learn of Bill's passing. We have fond memories of those Clarke Road pot-lucks and golf tournaments, also enjoying your Northridge pool. Bill certainly lived a long and fulfilling life. Our sincere condolences.
Bill and I shared many good times together. Especially remember our trips to Cleveland and Toronto to attend baseball games. Also our involvement together in high school basketball provided many fond memories. My condolences to Muriel and family.

A very long time ago, Bill gave me a tiny teddy bear for Christmas. I still have it. I just read this, and so I don't know if you'll see it, but Muriel, I have thought of you over the years, with the love I had when I lived in Toronto. I'm sending love and condolences...a bit late. Kerry and Craig, how lucky you were to have such a wonderful dad.
