So sorry to hear the terrible news about Bill's passing. He was a great guy who our family knew for many years. Bill was always offering to help out and even helped organize my wedding. He was my dad's (Richard) good buddy and they had many great times together. Since my dad's stroke in 2009 Bill has been a huge help to both my dad and mom Faye . My dad really looked forward to Bill's visits. He helped move my dad into his new room and would drive my mom to visit the nursing home and appointments, etc, when he could and helped us when we would come visit. Bill was always good for an idea, opinion or a cup of coffee. On behalf of Dale and I, our family, my brother Ron and his wife Julie, my sister Tracy and her husband Al and their family, and Glen, we send our deepest sympathies. Our families have many great memories of Bill over the years and we are so thankful for all he has done for our parents while still being a great husband, father and grandfather to his own family. That is the kind of guy Bill was, always offering to help out and lighten the load for others. He will be greatly missed. Lorna, Tracy, Ron (Dickieson)

Our deepest sympathies to Valerie and the family. We are very sorry for your loss and can't believe Bill is gone. Bill was a great friend and wonderful neighbor since 1983. Many years of garage sales, trips to the Old Tyme diner and walks around the neighbourhood. After Richard's stroke Bill was so helpful to both Faye and Richard, and he was very caring with Richard in the hospital. Bill could always calm Richard down if he got too worked up. Every time Faye would go into Richard's nursing home room Richard would ask where's Bill? Then Bill would come in and Richard would always say "Here's Bill!". Bill helped make things much easier for Faye after Richard had his stroke and she is very grateful for all he did. We know this is a terrible time for all of and we send our condolences. Bill was a wonderful man, always offering to help no matter what was needed. He made a great impression on all he met. We will really miss him and so appreciated all he did for us. Our thoughts are with all of you. Faye and Richard
