William John Hurrell

HURRELL, William John – William (Bill) Hurrell was born on September 9th, 1913 in Glennifer Braes Muskoka Canada and was a recent resident of London Ontario Canada. Preceded in death by his wife Agnes and his Son David, Bill passed away on January 25, 2011. Bill had an illustrious career in the Canadian Corrugated Industry receiving many awards culminating in 2007 with the reception of the Association of Independent Corrugated Converters Hall of Fame Award. At the age of 97 he was still an inspiration to those around him. He lived a very long and prosperous life and we are very proud of him. Bill is survived by his sons Kenneth Hurrell (Julliet) of London and Douglas Hurrell (Marlene) of Saratoga, California. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Kim, Chalaine, Tammy, Dan, Bill, Kendra, Carley, Jonathan and Jimmy Hurrell as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Page. He will be missed and loved by many others. A memorial service will be held for family and friends at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London Ontario at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1st, 2011.
