William Kenward

William Kenward passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at home at the age of 80. Cherished father of Taryn McPherson and Nicole Kepic (Alex). Proud Grandpa Bill of Nolan.
William grew up in northern B.C. and moved to Ontario during his high school years. He spent most of his career working as a probation officer for the City of London.
He was a diehard Yankees fan and knew every baseball statistic, both old and new. Grandpa Bill shared his deep love of baseball with his grandson, Nolan. William was a World War II and Vietnam war buff, and he read voraciously on these topics. The music of the ‘70’s was his absolute favourite genre. He was a dog lover and could name almost every breed, and he enjoyed travelling to warm and tropical destinations.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Those wishing to make a donation in William’s memory may consider The War Amps, The Salvation Army or the Cardiac Care unit at LHSC – University Hospital.
