I just found out about Bill’s passing. We worked together at Canada post. Bill was a pleasure to work with. Always had lots of stories and knowledge to share to pass the time. My condolences to friends and family

Just found out about Bills passing. Bill and I worked together as probation and parole officers for years. I never knew Bill to ever be an a sour mood. Always upbeat and ready for a conversation. Particularly sports. Never social companions outside of the office as we had different interests but I enjoyed his contributions to office life and his unique take on life. We all have a path in this life and I am glad my path crossed his. He brought something truly different to the table. My sincere sympathies to his daughters and their families. Murray Pope

I would like to pass on my condolences to the Kenward family. I enjoyed Bill's friendship over the years through our coffee group. He will certainly be missed with his comments and discussions on restaurants, baseball and the best stores to find food specials. He had a great memory for old movies, names of movie stars and Rock Bands. We had many discussions on the stock market and current affairs. He was an integral member of our group.

We knew Bill as one of our coffee buddies. He certainly was knowledgeable about baseball and music. He will be missed.

Sorry to learn about this. Although we had mostly lost touch over the last few years, always enjoyed playing basketball with Bill and attending a few Tigers games and giving him the gears when the Evil Empire (New York Yankees) struggled (which wasn't often enough).

Having had Bill as a member of our little coffee group for many, many years. He talked often of how much he enjoyed the choosing of a restaurant and his lunches and visits with his daughters. He followed his grandsons interest in baseball with great gusto. His many interests always kept the coffee conversation lively and his absence will be very missed. So long Bill!

As one of Bill's coffee-mates for the last few years, I wish to express to his daughters and grandson that he showed his pride and love for you, his family, in his time with our group - relating of his grandson's considerable prowess at baseball, which was Bill's favourite sport, I believe. Bill and I had shared interests for 70's music, the military and fancy words. He had an encyclopedic memory for minutiae. He could be prickly at times. But he was loyal to the end and a good friend. We hate to see you go, Bill.

To my beautiful sisters Taryn and Nicky, I’m so sorry for your loss. I know losing a dad leaves a space that can never truly be filled. I just want you both to know I’m thinking of you and sending you love during such a difficult time. I hope you can find comfort in the memories you shared with him and in the people who care about you. Love you both 🩷
