Winnifred Dorey

Peacefully at University Hospital, London, on Monday, January 26, 2015 in her 93rd year. Cherished daughter of the late Hedley and Ellen Dorey and sister of the late Hilda Scott. Loving aunt of Kenneth (Becky) of Indiana, Randall (Sandy) and Maureen Scott, all of California. Remembered by many great-nieces and nephews. Cousin of the late Ethel Russell and the late Ruth Niles. Winnifred will be dearly missed by her many friends. She was a dedicated former T. Eaton employee for 42 years and a longtime member of the West London Alliance Church. The memorial service will be conducted at WEST LONDON ALLIANCE CHURCH, 750 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Winnifred are asked to consider World Vision.

We wdere so sorry to hear of Winnie's homegoing. She was a dear friend of our family and had at least 30 Christmas's with us and our children. Before coming South, we went to London and had dinner out with her and we had a great time of talking about bygone days and all the fun we had. We are so sorry that we are unable to attend the service as we are still in Florida. Our prayers are with the family and the many children that Winnie looked after including ours, as she made a real spiritual investment in them all. We will never forget her as she was a vital part of our family. Love Glen and Adelle
