Peacefully at University Hospital, London, on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 in her 89th year. Survived by her husband John, son Gregory and his wife Amanda and granddaughter Abbie Jane. Sadly missed by family and friends in Montreal, Mississauga and London. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 29th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, London. Those wishing to make a donation are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

My condolences to John and the Kostesku family on the passing of dear Jean. She was a delightful kind soul, with always a warm smile . Not only was Jean an avid reader, but also a talented writer of prose and poetry. She loved music and the dance. Jean will be greatly missed by her circle of friends locally and afield.
