At Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013 with family at her side, Mrs. Yvonne (Vermote) Matthys of London in her 83rd year. Beloved wife and only dance partner for 62 years to Georges. Unconditional loving mother of Ron (Cathy), Dan (Judie), Linda (Bob Brown), Randy (Dolores), John (Jaia). Proud Meme of Michael, Rachael, Rebecca, Ben, Colin, Nicole, Leah, Kristine and Laura and the first great-grandchild on the way. Dear sister of Raymond (Godlieve) Vermote and the late Roger and Andre. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 7th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment, Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Yvonne are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Osteoporosis Society of Canada.

Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Georges and his family. For years we have known each other on the many dance floors. It's hard to understand why Yvonne has been taken away from this family and us. We wish and hope you will get through this hardship.
