I had the privilege of accompanying Yvonne to treatments at Cancer Care Centre in Kitchener, as a volunteer with Region of Waterloo Hospice. Those days flew by as we engaged in stories, shared laughter , and talked about the reality of her situation. I heard of her love for all of you, and share my condolence in her passing. I enjoyed the time with her and will miss her.
Yvonne always brought sunshine with her when she would come to our office. She was a pleasure to work with and to chat with. She often spoke of Presley & Jax, who she loved deeply. My deepest condolences to the family. My thoughts are with you.
The staff and volunteers send their heartfelt condolences to the family at this most difficult time of loss. We pray peace and strength will sustain you all.
I had the privilege to help Yvonne as a PSW to stay in her home as long as possible. Grateful to have known her, enjoyed my time with her.My prayers to the family.
Yvonne was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. She laughed so easily - loved music and dancing and of course, Elvis. We had all this in common with her. She will be missed. God bless each other.
I will always remember Yvonne's smile and her laugh. We had fun when she came into our offices each week - whether we were discussing knitting, cats, her beloved grand kids, recipes, clothes, spicy food (she hated, I loved) the weather (my love of the hot weather and her dislike of it)- didn't matter, we laughed. I'm very sorry for the family's loss as its obvious she was greatly loved. She will be missed.
We too will also miss Yvonne's smile and laugh. Even with her illness, she loved a good joke and would laugh uproariously. We loved hearing stories of her visits with her beloved grandchildren, and she in turn was very interested in ours and all our family. Yvonne, we'll miss you. We're sorry you couldn't fight this off to give you more time to take Presley to Paris - you fought the good fight. Yvette, our condolences to you and your kids. Yvonne loved you all a great deal.
My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. I will surely miss the presence of a truly lovable and kind person.

We shared some laughs, and some nice talks. Her dear Grandchildren will surely miss her, and of course dear Yvette. When Yvette was a baby Yvonne brought her to her moms Tini's house, and I brought my Baby son then Jamie... and they were around the same age.. and were so adorable.. I lost my dear Mom in 2006. and every day I think of her... You will as well I know that.. She is with you always.. Thinking of you too Wayne and Sandra losing your dear Sister... God Bless Dianne Talbot and family And Brother David..
Just reading everyone's comments and thinking they nailed it. Yvonne's laughter is what I will remember most. Even during my hospital visits with her. I couldn't get her to accept any help, but that speaks to the love and assistance provided by family & close friends, I'm sure. My condolences to you Yvette and to your children!
